Huh? Don Mills Road?
Ohhhhh…..you mean a condo on Don Mills, right?
No? A house? That makes no sense!
Believe it or not, there IS a house on Don Mills Road, several, in fact. But I can’t see this being an easy sale…

Don’t judge a book by it’s cover!
This building doesn’t look like much from the outside, and perhaps it’s not. Fault the photographer to some extent.
But Tecumseh Lofts is quite a unique find at King & Bathurst…

Most of the buildings I feature in my “Listing of The Day” are always new, popular, sexy buildings in the downtown core.
But not every condominium in Toronto was built in the last five years. What about those older buildings that nobody cares about?
Some of these older buildings offer exceptional value, but are they up to 2008 standards?

When I was a kid, I had my own toy factory of sorts.
I used to make my own G.I. Joe toys from cardboard boxes and things I found around the house…..until my mother said “I guess if you’re so good at making your own toys, I don’t have to buy you real ones!” That was the end of that…
Now, I’m evaluating the worthiness the new Toy Factory Lofts for a client of mine.
The prices are right, and the area is ripe…

Another day, another two-million-dollar condo…
But this one isn’t in Yorkville, and it’s not downtown.
If ever there were an area of the city that could be called “The Yorkville of Midtown,” it would be the Yonge & St. Clair area on a street like Delisle Avenue…

“Meh”
Are you familiar with this term? This annoying catch-phrase that people use both in speech and in text?
Well I’ve never been a fan of the term, but if you were to ask me what I think about 34 Sherbourne Street, I couldn’t think of a better response than “Meh”….

Why?
Why am I featuring this seemingly mundane house in need of much renovation as today’s Listing Of The Day?
Well it can make a claim that no other house in the Central core make…
…it’s under $200,000.

When you hear “Pantages” in Toronto, you probably think of the Pantages Theatre on Yonge Street across from Eaton Centre.
While the theatre was renamed Canon Theatre a few years back, the name Pantages lives on around the corner at 210/220 Victoria Street…

There are two buildings in the vibrant Queen West area that most people want to live in: Chocolate Lofts, and Candy Factory Lofts.
Why? Well, probably because most people are unoriginal and want what other people talk about.
But here is a third option for those of you that think outside the box…

I overheard two agents in my office talking about this listing today, and how overpriced it was.
I was ready to slam this new unit at 68 Broadview on my blog, but then I noticed a small detail in the fine print of the listing.
Maybe it’s my youth that disagrees with these two older agents, but I think this loft could be one of a kind…
