This was probably the most amazing golf course I’ve ever played.
It was truly world-class in every way, and the scenery couldn’t be beat.
But it should come as no surprise that the area is surrounded by unsold houses, and the entire venture is a failure waiting to happen, if you don’t believe that it’s already failed…
How about Sagewood Estates? Would that have sold more homes?
Or how about Sagewood Mews? Even that sounds better…
On Ski Hill Road, there is a sub-division with five houses and room for another seventy. It is my opinion that there will never be any more houses on the land that was supposed to contain the rest of the sub-division.
I feel bad for those five residents that live there now…
Tomas Kaberle for Devin Setoguchi? Straight up? That’s a dream!
Wayne Gretzky is coming out of retirement to play for the Leafs? That’s great news!
Oh, yeah - and there’s also these two massive condominiums that just opened outside of the Air Canada Centre, brought to you by the good folks at MLSE…
Lots of rain, an old lady’s cat got stuck in a tree, and oh yeah - mayhem and rioting in downtown Toronto!
As much as I’d love to turn the subject back to real estate after what seems like a somewhat detached couple of weeks, I would be remiss if I didn’t weigh in on the G-20 “protests” with my own thoughts and reflections…
It’s Friday before G-20, and half of you aren’t even at work, so I don’t think I’m going to waste a 1600 word blog post on today.
I hope that the cottagers, golfers, travelers, and spring cleaners enjoy their weekends while avoiding the Torontonimo-Bay area of the downtown core..
Just remember to avoid any trees, benches, and/or garbage bins that the police forgot to remove from the financial district as the anarchists will (apparently) be using them as weapons.
After all, you don’t have to be MagGuyver to take a six-foot tree, a trash bag, a mailbox, and an apple core and turn them into an improvised explosive device.
Here’s hoping we all make it through the weekend safely!
Surely it’s not the biggest issue we need concern ourselves with, but it’s certainly crossed my mind more than a few times.
I haven’t seen this level of combined paranoia and preparation since the Y2K scare, which turned out to be needless in the end.
The G-20 Summit will affect the entire city of Toronto, and all of its residents, and it will basically freeze the real estate market for an entire week…
