A condominium unit came onto the market today for $429,000; not a ton of money in today’s market, but also not cheap.
The catch?
It’s only 300 square feet…
The fact that I wrote about bad concierges last week and now I have this story to tell is nothing more than coincidence….and perfect timing!
When I walked in to a condo at King/Bathurst on Sunday, I had no idea what was about to go down.
This experience was a first! But, aren’t they all?
I’ve heard people say on occasion, “This house will sell itself!”
While there is the occasional gem of a property that needs no explanation, no added attention, and minimal effort on the purchase and sale, I find that too many people are just assuming a given property will sell, and sell fast!
Sales and Marketing go hand-and-hand. You just can’t have one without the other…
Maybe it’s because I don’t always say “hello” when I walk by him at 2AM.
Maybe it’s because I didn’t give him a Christmas bonus.
Whatever the reason, there is one concierge in my building that is less than friendly towards me on a regular basis.
And this is a growing trend in condominiums across Toronto…
Imagine a seller who puts his property on the market, gets multiple offers, over-asking price, and STILL wants more!
What options does he have?
What realistic options does he have?
When is enough still not enough?
I understand that we’re in a hot real estate market right now, and have been for some time.
I understand that sellers set lofty goals, and more often than not, they achieve them.
But what happened this past Tuesday night was one for the ages…and almost cost my client his house….
